Had a tiring 3D2N camp for my Girls' Brigade during which I felt as if I was cut off from the world. Had no idea why but at 2pm on sat, I suddenly missed my section..sigh, didn't get to usher with them at all. However looking on the bright side, I got to know more officers from other companies. In particular, I really bonded with Huifang from 38th Company. Cos as usual, my own company's officers were busy with the running of the camp so I spent most of my time with her. Haha..really crazy, we even nicknamed one of the cubicles as the "waterfall" cos apparently the flow of water is fantastic for bathing. It's really during camping that you begin to appreciate the comforts we have at home. The Promotion & Dedication service for the girls (for which I was in charge of) was fraught with difficulties as the Guest of Honour only told us 1 hour before the actual event that she could stay only for 30 minutes! I was really stressed out but Praise God! My friends helped me out and though things did not run very smoothly (the GOH left even before we could present a token of appreciation to her), it was truly a learning experience.
